Could this file be protected in some way to prevent one from converting it to MIDI 1? If so, maybe I could delete certain lines in Event List that may be preventing the conversion - just a wild guess. If someone can provide specific instructions I can try that. I don't now how to "Split Channel to Tracks" CAL script on the track. I tried the second method (Save As a MIDI 1 format, then importing it back in) but still got all data on one track (actually two tracks - one track has 9 channels of data and smaller track with 2 channels of data - very strange).
